Nightshade help.

Im making an elf nightshade, i intended on doing Blades / Cs spec, anyone tell me a decent bladshade spec? intending ong bg1 atm but might take further.

If your going blades, be sure to have a buffbot.. dont go blades without it... u get crap weaponskill and u get verry low strenght both as luri and as elph...and will get raped with the debuffs out there


good specc is

44 blades/pierce... needed to get around the str/con debuff... with 39 blades you will get kinda ripped down after u get debuffed... if ur going pierce.. 39 might do.. but id go 44 on that to, for the little extra weapon skill..

39 cs. dont need much more, can raise for PA cap etc.. but if u go higher CD, ur average amouth of dual hits will overcome this difference...dont go higher imo.. some ppl say 44 for the last hamstring style... but imo its not even close to worth it... 39 is enuff

35 stealth, at rr 5 u get 50 stealth, pretty much what u need.. can go a few points lower if ur a patient person

35 envenom. u get lifebane at rr5... same goes here... u can skip lifebane totaly and just get 47 envenom (32 base+15) for the str/con debuff... and a dot that ticks 8 pts lower..

rest CD... about 20 if u autotrain in stealth to level 48...
this is nice for better chance to duel hit... think u get about 1% bigger chance for each 2 pts u spend into this line... can go upto 27 if u want... and lower envenom or stealth, but can be rough...

20 is fine

so final specc IMO:

44 weap
39 cs
35 stealth
35 envenom
20 cs

... good luck... and btw.. buffbot for bladeshades dont forget that..

AND if ur going blades u should go atleast put +10 str, +10 con at start points...I went +15 str, +10 con.

gah no secon d acc for buffbot is there no love pattch for bladeshades or anything ? (i cant run more than 1 acc at once if u have any idaeas on runnin 2 on 1 comp with 394sd-ram ]
plus i wudda thought blades was more damaging the peirce ill have to try a few specs [bring on /level 20]

well if u got 2 accounts, u can run 2 instances of daoc at th same time ifu got the comp for it.. I got 512 ram and kinda good comp so its np for me...

blades are more damaging if u go for other stealthers really:

only got 1 acc + i cant run 2 from my comp (i used to run 2 just fine with 394mb sd-ram) but now i cant

didn't i read somewhere that Celts are going to be allowed to become Nightshades soon?

Perhaps it'd be worth it to wait a month or so before rolling?

Isnt the next Dot at 22 envenom? i would bring that up a bit maybe drop your CD slightly and raise blade a bit. acnt remember my shade spec will take a look in a bit

There wont be celt Nightshades in the near future. Idea got cancelled (on NS TL request).
Eventually a celt NS class would harm existing NS (elphs/Luris). For more details you should check the VN stalker forum
