Right now ive got your attention i have a question ..........

i recently changed my isdn card to an asuscom on and my ping from dos as dropped by ~30 to 24 (

),

BUT

my in game pings are still stuck at 50 (a lot steadyer btw), anyone no why dos\gamespy pings have dropped by so much yet my game ones havent ?

i mainly play q3a, and use clara-net (freetime) as my isp, i have rate set to 7000, snaps set to 40, and cl_maxpactets = 40 (dont no why the last one reduces me ping, but it does ?), anyone got any ideas ?

Try setting dup_packets to 0.

Apart from that it all looks ok, though you might want to try a rate of 6200!

I downloaded a gizmo which sorted out my internet settings, it's called IntelliDialUp (or something similar). This reduced my ping nicely.
