Thought Id ask what the most nice/lame/funny things u have seen in rvr.
Try and keep names out of it. dont want this turning into a whine/flame. Keep it nice.

NICE
I was trying todo quest in pennines, so ran to mmg, whack straight into fg of albs, died & released, waited a few minutes, thinking they may of moved, ran to mmg, eek ran straight into them. They bowed cheered etc and let me through. Thanks guys made my day.

LAME
After a long absence (6 months) from game i logged in. i had given everything i had to a friend when i left convinced i had quit game for ever. So i logged in at amg odins with less items then the day i created char, no armour/weapons, lvl 50. Was attacked at once by 2 hibs, dead in seconds. They werent to know ofc. Just annoyed hell out of me at time.

FUNNY
Albs attacking bled, we are defending. Albs on second door. Then u could repair inner door from inside keep, though u could get caught in aoe attacks.
Think I repaired it up to lvl3 then would port out and slam outer door shut, trapping the tanks in between doors. Sometimes i would manage to port back in, tho i mainly got ganked. did it several times. Must of been so annoying for the albs. No this wasnt an exploit before someone complains. Sorry guys made for a long raid.(Thinks this might end up in someones LAME choice)

My ranger being saved from a SB in Hadrians by an infili that /dance /hug /kiss and then ran off.

LAME:

Getting ganked by 8 infilis in DF on the same day, on the same lvl 30 druid, suffice to say not all of them even had a chance to get a hit in

FUNNY:

AMG Emain video of DH charging an alb zerg from the gate room and killing the bloody lot of them (technically i didnt see it happen, but it still makes me laugh ).

Getting caught by a full group of hibs at amg odins who cheered and kissed me then let me go when I was soloing.

Lame:

Zephyr, ffs this needs nerfing.

Seriously though, most lame things I see are just people using walk-through lame tricks and using small grapple bot groups to kill soloers.

Funny:

Soloing in odins again im hanging around near the glacier giant when a bard tries to mezz me and fails, so he resorts to instant aoe in a panic. He succeeded in mezzing me this time, but funnily enough the glacier giant resisted....

Never laughed so hard in my life whilst stood there mezzed.

Hibs defending a keep in Midgard from mids, who bring the Glacier Giant with them to join the fun. It's really nice to see the Mids doing the unusual

FUNNY

Anyway, somehow the Glacier Giant ends up in the middle of the keep because all the animist shrooms are DD'ing him, and he's stomping around in the courtyard throwing people into the air...

LAME

So the Glacier Giant is on ~25% health and I hit it with my "uber" druid dagger for a laugh, and on the third hit I have a mega lag-spike and suddenly I'm plunging out of the sky somewhere in Odin's Gate. I hit the ground and insta myself back to 100%, only to notice a bemused FG albs are standing around a heap of dead hibs who've rained from the sky. Obviously they kill me at this point and I die anyway

When i meant nice I meant when have other realms been nice to you, but nm.

ie lvl 50 alb pulled mobs for me to kill when i was lvl 28 \o/ (mid) in darkness falls

I cant believe others have no stories about this

ie im fighting a sb is close fight,decide to move , eek fell off wall im dead

lame: that same healer stunning me when I pulled 3 yellows by accident

funny: running to emain solo with a bardy, and getting ganked by a FG of rr9+ =p

Nice: In DF as my brothers infil watching a blue/green/grey con mid group fighing they get aggro by 2 shredders, a mincer leaps out and takes on one of the shredders for them as they just manage to kill 1 of them
Lame: the group the proceed to leap on the mincer just as he finishes off his shredder
Funny: mincer pops IP and kills the whole group

FUNNY: My armswoman rooted by a mid and he bowed to me and waited until i came out so we could have a 1 on 1 fight but then a alb stealther came behind him and killed him!

Nice- A level 50 necro and a level 50 paladin helped me exp my sb from 20-24 in DF while Albs had df. Paladin pulled with taunt and kept aggro, while the necro debuffed the mob so i could kill it fast.

These are all from a time long long ago, before sc and even before realm abilities when people were still levelling up their first characters and a level 50 was a rare sight.

Nice - Ok, my memory is extremely hazy on this (due to excessive chemical abuse no doubt ) but I was xping in the gorge early days and it was either a friendly infiltrator who guarded me from a nasty sb who kept ganking me (both purp con). Or it was the other way round, I'm not entirely sure. I seem to remember mids as bastards from back then (my view mostly tainted by the fact that the very first time i ran out of dl to have a look at the frontiers i got shot down by Fatbelly before making it past the first lip) so i'm inclined to believe it was the alb guarding me from the mid.

Lame - Getting chain one shotted by assasins who remained in stealth.

Funny- A high purple scout (possibly 50) who jumped our small (bard, me (eld), another eld and a chanter) lvl 30ish group coming out of dl. Insta killed the bard (who was green even to us 30's). Then killed the chanter in two shots. Then, he was aiming at me....., i was pretty close to him at the time and sudden inspiration hit. I started to run round him in a tight circle, obviously not having heard of /face back then (if it even existed, i don't remember using it till later either, whether through ignorance or it's absence i can't remember) he kept turning to try and keep up, but not quite fast enough and was left standing with his bow drawn with me running round him in a circle while he tried to get los to shoot me. The other eld who was still up was nuking him for about 30 or so damage a pop or something whilst this went on, and had him down to very nearly dead but the scout decided to run at that point and unfortunately for us the other eld ran oom and i was slightly too slow in stopping running and starting to nuke him as he managed to stealth and get away. Still, group chat at the time was filled with "lol", "rofl" etc. Ok, so the scout did come back a minute later and finish the job, but it was funny to watch at the time.

that reminds me when i went andred, I was lvl 7 killing mobs in vale of mularn, had a lvl 35 healer friend stunning the mobs for me etc, generally helping. One mob got out of hand and i couldnt kill it:-

Healer draws weapon and promptly hits me killing me
she: bah u died
