NFS: Underground, drag records? SS's please.

Here is mine so far, after a few hundred drag runs, finally I broke another barrier

I could still improve that by getting 6/6 perfect shifts.

Uuu-arr! Some tens of tries later, I beat my own record by 0.01 seconds!

Man, it gets seriously tough to beat these records...

EDIT: ...oh yeah, and AGAIN only 5/6 perfect shifts.

I got 25.71 on the internet, not tried on single player yet.

Anyway... I play offline (quick race) only because the online mode in the demo already has cheats... some people there will have unlimited nitrous oxide and they're getting impossible times (below 20s)...
Also for me the online mode will often crash when a game is loading. It just leaves me with a blank screen yet I can hear sounds.

Trick to getting sub-25 and sub-24 times?
Sub-26 times are easy... just have some more tries and you'll be there.
Sub-25's... well, how would I say this without giving it all away... Think of varying starting revs and various ways you could use nitrous
Sub-24 times? Getting it all right after you start getting low 24's... I don't know exactly how to get sub-24's like I have now 4 times. It's like a low-24s time but everything goes better

Unfortunately not, you get various looking cars but you can't choose them yourself.... random.

That's why the final game will be godly, modding

Those times are fairly common when you play it enough... but getting under 24s is a bit tougher, and some have gotten around 23.5s as well...

Yes, there are cheats around on the multi player, but that's not the reason I will not believe in your SS 100%, it's because someone was talking on another forum about the cars acting differently

With such shifts and so you were damn lucky
I just can't do it.
Maybe if I really REALLY try get shifts, start and NOS all as good as possible I could a low 23 time.
