NF Bard RA's?

im bored out my skulleh in work so i thought ide give this some thought


i take it bards need purge 2 seen as gp is going and 5 sec cast time on purge 1 is probs no good?

also should am be taken to 2 to give 250 hps or stay at 1 (100 hps)?

master of the art has gone to up my cast speed so what im interested in knowing is what u guys think a decent RR5/6/7 bard should go for

i was thinking of purge 3 (as we wont have gp)
sos1, this will remove the grps negative effects and make them imune to em for a few secs. (i think anyway)
rp2 mcl aint realy worth it anymore due to the 10 sec combat timer, and rp is only on a 15 or 10 minute timer if my memory serves me right.

then i was gonna go for some aug dex and get am3 at a higher realm rank.

ive just kinda realised that NF really costs a lot lol

RR5 i can only get purge 3 AM 1 and MCL

MCL > RP tbh. 3 min timer vs 10 mins is a big difference.

My bard is currently 5L4 but planning from a RR5 perspective I would say this might work as a "starter-spec" when NF comes:

(3) Augmented Dexterity +22 dex
(1) Mastery of Concentration -25 % effect, non-interrupted spell, 15s dur, 600s RUT
(1) Mystic Crystal Lore +25 % power restored non-combat, 180s resuse
(2) Purge 0s delay, 15m RUT : Dispel Negative Effects
(1) Speed of Sound 10 s duration speed 4, unstoppable, 10m RUT

Purge 2 is a minimum for a bard ofcourse, but I cant defend going Purge 3 and loose most other stuff when I'm only RR5. MOC1 allows me to demezz others (ideally), and perhaps get some interrupts going when I need it. MCL1 is to refill that little bit you need now and then, will mainly rely on powerpots when needed. SOS1 gives 10 sec of CC "immunity" and can help on initial start of combat and then ofcourse ... Dex3 minimum to get back some of the lost castingspeed when MoArt goes away. I am planning on atleast 1-2 levels of Mastery of Focus but after that I might go for Purge 3 or SOS2. I dont know yet, will see how things go.

hmmm so AM not really needed in NF now?

after some testing lastnight, i decided my bard will go lifter 5. maybe sos 1 or 2 to help me escape, then some aug str.

carrying 5-6 pults and putting them in front of a tower with greek fire and iceballs in it is fun, solo'ing with nerfed AM, nerfed moc, speedwarps and all kinds of homo-insta spells dropping my speed is not.

Maybe AM3 would be worth it, but I cant really spare 30 RA pts for something I havent had before either and dont know the value of. If I ever get high RR I would reconsider AM, but for now and for quite a few rps to go, I wont even think about getting it as I think the lower tiers AM isnt good enough.

no but you get a big smile on your face from 5 glowy balls being launched into the keep. only get rps from the pult you control, but it's fun enough

stone shot has a massive radius, so fire a couple of those so you get rps for everyone in the keep

and ice/greek fire for smaller radius, more damage and cool graphics
