My favourite start for a new year would be sexor.
Not with some random bird from the corner shop, but more with an old friend/ex or something.
Would be a lovely way to welcome new years, against the usual puking your brains out in the toilet while someone is trying to dryhump you with an electrical device.

aye we missed our new year shag last year (bf and i) and the last year has been absoloute piddle, whereas when i start the year with a boink it usually goes well. so going to be along the lines of:
1) make loads of nice grub.
2) movies,games, eating said grub and some drinks.
3) midnight, boink, drink champaigne out of a belly button, maybe mine or my bf's we'll see when the time comes, (a straw may be needed if its from my own), run on to pc and wish you kids a merry new year.
4) say the same thing i say every new years "shall we try and stay up and watch the sun rise?"
5) wake up at 10am and go "aw bugger, maybe next year"
might not sound that exciting to you but hay, tis the way i do it and i like it

My girlfriend wants me to go somewhere boring for new years, so I decided to get the new years sex out the way early (Hey babe lets meet up before you go to the party new years!) and then go and do something fun while she goes to some crappy party xD
Go me! Ez I'll wish you a happy new year now because I'll be so damn drunk i'll say something like "HPAYRW WEKN YAHEWR"
As for sending me to Thailand DavidH, My mummy told me never to meet up with strangers from the internet, and no one is stranger than people from Norway
