I would be ready to wtfpwn people with my stong nightshade spells after reading the manual.

First 2gp I ever made was from dancing at some purple geezer in Howth and I was very impressed with his generosity (I didnt beg or anything, was just dancing like a fewl), so I guess as a level 1 I would want more high level people who wanted dancing elfs

hehe it a lot of things really..

how your realm acts together and fights for a common cause..
how u aint supposed to inferfere with other peoples way of playing.

wardens being tanks.
nightshades being restricted to leather so they can sneak about.. even though mincers can sneak around in chain.. and shades being powerful spellcasters..

savages having the ability to hit MULTIPLE targets.. not 1 target MULTIPLE times..

the bit about how everyone plays together is the thing though.. remember when u just bought the game and were reading through it.. did u really see things being as they are now?

i thought it would be a great game of community and everyone pulling together when someone invaded.. it used to be the case ofc.. but not anymore. people go off in different tangents and i aint gonna say they shouldnt, coz they pay to play like me and everyone else.

its just a gentle reminder of happier times and the promise of what might have been

ahhh alas ilaya, this is the way of the world.
Unfortunatly DAoC, like many other things in life, require human participation, and let's face it, as much as we'd like to say we can all get along and fight for a common goal it's simply untrue. Where there are other people there will always be disapointment in the way we unite. It's a simple fact of life. The trick is to do the best you can and not hold people to a higher standard than they are capable. (unfortunatly online gaming communities attract a vast amount of low standard people )
