Next question: Whats your favourite CS weapon?

We all know some prefer sniping and some others prefer rushing. But what weapon do you like most while undertaking these activities? Personally I prefer the FP90 for close quarters combat and the Sig552 Commando for shootouts at medium range. Whats your favourite weapon and why is your favourite?

There was a thread about this a while ago but I'll play anyway.


I like the M4.

Good stopping power and useful at medium range as well as up close.

If its a map like Oilrig, I tend to go for the P90 as the ammo supply can be critical.

M4, MP5, grenades and some flashes. Oh yeah i'd say AK but i've not had enough practise recently so sig commando will do instead.

of course that goes the same for the 5/7 i love that gun
best of all has to be 2ndary knife on an unsuspecting awper

No shit, the 228 was ace back in the day, i don't know about now, but pre 6.5 it totally rocked, some rounds i wouldn't even bother grabbing an auto;)

CS is crap :-(
Waaaay to easy to die, and gets very laggy unless you've got a high-speed connection (the game seems to have been designed specially for "low-ping bastards"!)

Yes I have got it... but it gets boring waiting around when dead for the next round.

....TFC is better :p

Always un-silenced M4 too... I like that extra bit of accuracy (unless I *really* need to not be spotted)

Oh and [*UK*]Half-Killer don't talk nonsense, CS/HL has probably the MOST HPB-friendly netcode of any game out there. You wanna see a modemmer ripping the shit out of everyone? Watch Carling play - HPB and seriously dangerous ;)

Best HPB I have seen is Shadow (formerly of [AS]).

Dont get me started on HPB v LPB again, anyway granny is right Cs has the most HPB friendly netcode out there.

M4 always un-silenced although granny this is where u r wrong, un-silenced is less accurate but more powerful.
I know its noisey but that stupid silencer while quite sticks out a mile always gives u away.

All the HPB's I know are of comparable skills to all the LPB's I know. And that skill? L33t

silenced m4 is more accurate? Well that'd make real-life sense since suppressors tend to reduce recoil by venting muzzle gas sideways...

Too right m8. I was in his Lager Louts clan. I remember once, he was the last guy alive and he took out 5 enemy with an MP5, 3 of whom where sub 50 ms pingers.

Won the round.

Favorite ct weapon, colt m4 no doubt about it, accurate with the silencer so I get 2 or 3 rounds off before they react. Why do people take so long to being shot if they dont hear the bang.

Favorite t weapon AK47 seems strangly powerful plus accurate over fair distances.
But prefer the colt.

Well time for some self appraisal...
I killed 9 cts once.... on dust.... with an mp5.....
(and a grenade ... ;), and I was a hpb.... but then... they were all shite, stupid BW newbies
