Only god knows.
But GOA did have some sort of timing for patches... something to do with like 1 week of translating per patch or something, can't remember anymore. Got to dig it up in the old forums I guess.

As Kemor said in his "closing the forums" announcement, they are working on some sort of news thing. That will say the type of things the announcements forums used to, and I quote:

Regarding the "informative" role the forums hold, bravely, until now; we are working on a news tool for the official website, all the official information we used to post on the forums will now be posted on the homepage. Specific news per server and realm will follow.

The forums are now closed except for this announcement forum.
You can read them but not post. Tonight, they will be gone completely.

so expect a date soon, and then expect delay and it to arrive 3 weeks from then.

DAoC europe strong community? Huh?

Anyway, I think we're evry lucky. in america they started with version 1.01, we're starting with 1.36 and we have 1.45 a few weeks after release. We're lucky....

The US went gold on 1.35. The same as Europe.

When I brought DAOC Europe having played on the US servers, I read the forums and information, and saw a quote from Kemor saying 2-3 days delay from US patch to European patch.

I think someone didn't translate the word for week correctly and put days instead .

2-3 weeks per patch number is what they're currently translating at. Which is roughly the same speed Mythic patch at. So don't expect GOA to have 1.48 ready before 15 May, and probably won't be ready until First week in June, by whcih time the US servers will be getting close to 1.51.

Then 1.49 includes Darkess Falls, and other stuff, and 1.50 has the new Realm Point Skills, so you can expect those two patches to take GOA a Dark Age to translate.

GOA are hopeless and a big bunch of liers.

I know now... of camelot means of patching and then the dark age of patching refers to the time it takes! Hahaa! The camelot could be patching since the knights of camelot fought a lot and had to be patched so you know, you get this overall conclusion and stuff.
Now there I went a bit far.

Dunno about the next patch.. should go relatively smooth as the updates aren't that big.

1.49 is nearly as large as the 1.36-1.45 patch, so you can image how much fun THAT is going to be.. Two days long GOA. Game Offline Again.

We just have to have patience. Don't hold your breath.. that's what the Kobolts in Midgard tried. Poor buggers have more trust in GOA than the rest..

Maybe it will be another nice downtime but then again people can crawl out of their electrified holes and return into the midst of the cruel society.
