The Inquirer provides some information about the initial price of the card, all this information and still no real sightings of this card at a customer level

P4 4.2Ghz

The current range topper in the Intel Pentium 4 line up is actually 3.06Ghz at the moment but it seems those pips over at HardOCP have pushed their own one to a magical 4.2Ghz of power...

Gimmick?

Upon the intial gaze of the Pocket DV II digital camera, from Aiptek, you tend to think it looks rather fake. However it is a real camera and one that also does moving images too.

ATI Going Down

ATI is undoubtedly enjoying Nvidia's current problems with getting the GeForce FX out of the door. It would seem that ATI is about to add another bucket of fuel to the fire with some price drops in the 9700 series of graphics cards, which is perfectly logical in all honesty.

Asus P4G8X Deluxe Review

Hexus have just completed a review of the Asus P4G8X Deluxe, a board I've been recommending to people who want to get a new P4 mobo. The board is based off the new E7205/Granite Bay chipset which provides support for Hyper Threading, Dual DDR, AGP 8x, etc and with the additional features bundled on the motherboard by Asus I had little doubt it would be a good motherboard, looks like I was right :)

Two part Chill Down

Bit-tech have been playing with a Prometeia case and produced a two part review. This is a special case with something extra; it includes a Condensing unit and Compressor which enables the system to produce icy cold temperatures.

ASUS A7N8X

Well not every one has P4s so here is a nice review of the Asus Nforce2 offering at ExtremeMhz. This mobo is another popular Asus product and offers all the usual Nforce2 mobo trimmings such as AGP 8x, Dual DDR, etc etc.

All Things ATI

Yesterday saw a good post about ATI and the plan to reduce the price of the 9700 series of graphics card, however rain must always follow sunshine. It seems that ATI is in the poo up to its neck with the Ontario Securities Commission according to HardOCP which has a link the following document. Part of the document includes an allegation about how certain high ranking members of ATI sold a number of their shares, some 494,000 worth nearly $7m, before ATI were due to release information that they wouldn't reach their Q3 targets in 2000.

However the Inquirer has some details on the forthcoming R350 silicone....read more here

9500 Review

If you're looking for a mid range card then you can't really go wrong with any one of the cards based of the ATI 9500 chip. BlargOC have managed to get their hands on one produced by Connect3D and have put it to the test with the usual 3DMark benchmarks with some comparisons between DX8.1 and DX9 thrown in to.

Illuminated Keyboard

It seems everything that shines or glows is quite a growth market at the moment with LED lights even located on intake/exhaust fans. Well if you are looking for a new keyboard then ClubOC have just the keyboard for you.

Cooler

Overclockers New Zealand have a review of the AeroCool AB7080 which is designed for socket A processors, Athlons. The review is two pages long with the usual benchmarks showing an average cooler.
