Just got this game and was wondering when you guys get together, I will make a good target and promise not to bleed over you all too much

We are waiting on a few missions being added to the servers *pokes Deathace* and once they are on you'll find us playing nightly. I'm just going home now, I'll sort you out with patches when I get home if you are in IRC.

Cool, I've been biding my time with Ghost Recon on xbox live... still can't compare to OFP

What I like about OFP is the fact you dont need an unrealistic amount of bullets to kill something, now I found out you can fly planes and stuff I am just itching to give it a go

Well, that all depends which gun you have. The G36 for example, normally only needs one bullet, which is a bit much. Apart from that, it works well.

And I'd practice flying offline if I were you, landing is a bit tricky to say the least.

who said anything about landing?, ill just do what I do in BF1942, find a nice target and... well you know the rest

In BF1942, you get to respawn.

Well since OpF is now on the BW servers (hurrah) I guess I can dust off the CD's and install them again!

BTW Last time I had it installed (op flash, red hammer and resistance) everytime I tried to patch to a newer version I was getting error updating messages. Anyone else ever get this?

Turned out I had faulty RAM :/

It also caused probs with CS.

Last time I played OFP, I couldnt get it to go past the fecking training missions, kept crashing to desktop. I'll try to reinstall and see what happens.
