Hello all,
What does 'pbaoe' mean I saw it mentioned in some posts I was reading. There was also a bunch of stuff I have no idea about in RvR but as I am only lvl 15 I won't be worrying about that for a while

pbaoe is one of those easy to speak MMO abbreviations for point blank area of effect, which means an area damage, not around a target, but around you.

this is a fantastic way to xp - if you can get a decent PBaoe caster or two.

Pull as many mobs as you have tanks and walk the mobs until they are virtually standing on one another. The casters then can run in and cast the point blank effect. It will damage ALL the mobs in close proximty. Thus you can quickly despatch 2 or 3 or 4 mobs the same time the it would take the tanks alone to do 1. The tanks just hold the attention whilst the casters blast.

In Hib, it is useful to have a couple of champs pull as the insta DD is easy to time the mobs to arrive at the group at the same time. However you can do it with any puller it just is harder to time and may mean one mob arrives whilst the other is still incoming - meaning the caster has to go on longer to kill them and uses more mana.
