New Year In London

I've tried looking around the internet for stuff to do in london on NYE but I can't seem to find anything other than the odd club night.

What I'm looking for is something more 'eventy' (if that's even close to being a word). One example would be the dome last year, it was dodgy cheesy disco D lots of girls in the group), a fair, ice-rink and fire-works. I'm looking for something like that. One possibilty I've found was something on at the connaught rooms, cheesy disco, retro bands etc.

Anyone got any plans yet?

I'm not sure I want another night in.
