New Version

So I logged on to play CS this evening and low and behold I find out there is a new version... Great! Finally get the thing downloaded and Installed... Go to play and I can't get in to half the sites. Those that I can get past the surver listing screen... keep giving me error messages... in either version

Mainly:
"Your .dll {cl_dlls\client.dll} differs from the servers"

and occasionally:
"Requestiong pldecal.wad from server"

I'm just a gal who like to play... I don't know what any of this stuff means... PLEASE can someone help me get back on??? What doesn this mean?? What do I need to do??

CS Server/Client Versions

Heya.

I think its just a matter of you and the server/s having different versions of cs/hl installed. make sure you have all the neccessary patches, like both the HL patch and CS patch if you have the MOD version of cs etc.

It will take a few days for all the servers to be fully updated with the patches. if you have already tried connecting via CS 1.1, and couldnt get in then you'll prolly just have to wait =[

I havnt updated my HL or CS yet in fear that i won't be able to play on my fav servers. so im gonna wait till the servers are officially upgraded before i follow suit.
