Ok, i have a liddul doubt here.
Recently i have formated my hdd, it is clean n brightnow, with only DAOC, emule, messenger and IRC installed.
My pc configuration is:
Abit KR7A
768mb DDR Kingston
AMD XP1700+ @ 2000+
GForce 4 ti4200 128DDR
Windows XP Pro
As u can see, although this is not a topnotch comp, it should handle DAOC no probs. At least it did with SI.
However, i have realised that with the new ToA graphics, the game doesnt run as smoothly as it used. Looks like a bit gfx laggy when it comes to load some ToA zones like cities and encounter zones.
Im using Detonator 41.09 drivers atm. I have tried with 53.03 (forceware) but i havent noticed any performance increase. And i play with medium gfx options (5 nearest shadows, no precache, etc..)
I would like to know if my problem is related with drivers of gcard, or if its just that my comp is not enuf l33t to run ToA at its best.
