Hi all,
I finally bought this game....the last time I played it was during the beta test.
I have managed to register an account on the camelot-europe webpages and I have a subscription id and game id (with passwords). I have checked the status of my game password and it says OK on the camelot europe site.
But when I log into the game I cannot. I receive a pop-up instantly that says invalid username and password.
I have tried changing my game password multiple times and retrying, I have cut and pasted the password in to avoid mistakes, but it is all to no avail. I cannot get in.
What bugs me is that the 'Invalid username or password' pops up instantly and I cannot even tell if the application is accessing the login server or not.
Whilst the 'invalid' pop-up is on the screen the login screen status window still shows that the application is trying different login servers. No joy though
Has anyone else suffered this? Is there just a delay in the login information hitting the game servers? Is there a magic route in?
My system specs:
Pentium III 600Mhz
NTL Cable Modem with Linksys BEFSR41 router (I have tried setting my PC to act as a DMZ whilst logging in - no joy either)
Win2k
GeForce3 Ti500
Creative Labs Live! 1024 Soundcard (with new driver pack)
DirectX 8.1b
Win2k/XP Detonators (October dated version)
