New to mapping

Does anybody know of a good website to teach you how to make maps? I have been looking through the so called tutorials, but I need a step by step example. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I used this one when i started pretty cool. I expect even though Ch3tan dont do mapping he probably will say that this is shit and give a better link or what HE thinks is better

No cause as I said in spellbinders thread i dont do mapping, so go ahead with yer mapping shit.

Bet it dont make the next veriosn of cs/ahl/tfc though.

oooo i do mapping cause i enjoy it. Not everything is a fecking battle that has to be won........if one of my futures maps gets into CS then i will be pleased if it dont then well life goes on.......wont be the end of the fecking world...................
