new to camlann :)

Hi.....

im going to start on on camlann after played a friar on excal/alb for near a year, then deletede moved to mid/excal but now i would like some difrens from the usal PvE to lvl 50 and would like to know how good a mind/body sorc is and how much u lvl from mobs and from players??
If sorc aint as good on PvP servers as they r on normal servers i got some other classes i would like to play.
Mincer, theur, shaman, healer or bard.
and last r pure dd caster worth any?? like light enchanter, eld and menta?? or dark sm/rm?
i got a friend playing skalds (atm lvl 22) and would like to know if any of the suggested classes fit good with a skalds, but i also want i classes there can solo .

Friar will own about evrybody but BDs can be though, yet most are doable due to crap armor.

Mages can be a ass to play because of the loads of stealthers that will PA u constantly but they can also be funny if u know how to avoid the infil zergs, they can drop higher lvl tanks and mages very easy if u get the jump.

About any tank will do good but getting decent gear is hard when its your first character.

And sorc are decent, but far from the best because u will die alot to infils/bds. (and no u cant kill a BD solo as a sorc, thrust me i know, got a 41 BD and 27 Sorc.

Friar will team well with a skald but i can guess u dont wanna play a friar again, mincer however will not work well with a skald in pve.

SHaman is a good pick with a skald, i played that combo with a mate on a normal server and we sure did good until high lvls (35+) in pve. Pvp will be good too but expect to be zerged by lowbies as a shammy.

Out of your list id say shammy or Theurg, i dunno how well a theurg works with a skald but they are very nasty.

Shammys are simply the most annoying thing since insta lifetap

but can they solo???

grr hard to choice then u can choice betwen all classes in game and dont want to be a fotm twat and it seems like that chars i like r pretty fotm on this server: mincer, friar, theur. That i want most is able to solo and be grp friendly (mostly mincer i think), somekind of range interrupt in some form (dds, snare, mess etc.)

dunno about duo with a skald, kinda redundant but might be good

reaver.... got to lvl 10 with my reaver, 3h /played, they can kill most other classes solo and they are great soloers in pve

to duo with skald, make savage.. no need for endu and dam output is great, shaman would work too

for going solo, make a theurg, but you dont want to duo with a tank when your a theurg cause EVERY tank you grp with will break your mezz as soon as u qc mezz => u die. Can also be very frustrating playing a caster cause many greys will leech on you. But solo theurgs really rock.. only problem is when stealthers PA you or bd see you first

The best duo in game for the fastest, easiest and most fun leveling!! (no I dont count 2x deathsight necro as fun leveling )

With a skald:
Theurg is great with skalds, theurgs is about the best kiting class in the game, and the duo server GREAT crowd control. The damage output is not that bad either It will most likely be able to kill most other duoes until the realm abilites play too much role

Any tank more or less works well with a skald, if your playing for fun make a champ or something for improved crowd control and fun abilities, if your staying til 50 and want cheap ras, any fotm tank will do

I would have gone with the shammy, shammys is easy groupable, have quite heavy damage output, the team will no longer be as weak to backstabs and bolts as if you had a mage, and you have the range and cc you wouldnt have if you had a tank. The dots and dieseases and of course buffs would do the duo good, however.. shammys is quite fotm

Mincher is not really a optimal option with skald, but it IS a great fun class to play. I played mincher on the US pvp server and i miss it dearly 8) After friar, they might be about the class with most fun-utility in the game since they have stealth, speed and charm and provide pretty much the cc you need in 1 char, as well as beeing a melee class with mana regen ;D The stackable speed in the duo would more or less only provide you with a permanent pet, and when the whole world is open to you, there is ALOT of cool pets around

I would not have made a sorc on this server. Even less with a skald, they would provide you little for instance the mincher could not, and you are one hit kill :/ Sorcs and wissies is about the most favored targets on this server.

Healer however, is a excellent choise. It sucks with a skald of course, but bring another member into the team with damage output and you will pretty much kill'em all. Skald and healer cannot pve particulary good together, and that is drawback, but if you care to take the effort (and its not that hard to find a group as healer) you will be among the most popular people on the server (set you spec pac/mend )

As the others have mentioned and you surly know, friars rock on this server, but you already have one, and they are pretty fotm atm :/

If you make a class that cost alot of cash and equipment, pre-make a painwork necro and send a tell to goldhamster or noltarus asking where to hunt, you can make level 42 at least and get more then 3p in a matter of 3-4 days played, i made noltarus more or less only to provide my friar with equipment .P

If your planing on a career at camlann i suggest you start of with a necro, get him to the high 30's and spend the money you've earned on a decent SC kit to the character you wish to get to 50, go housing, find some neat items for your character, make a SC template and get it all made, i suggest you make your suit lvl 38 or so.

Your just asking to be flamed aint you? But well they do well, i playe BD + Skald a bit and the pets do loads of damage with the dmg add.. however BDs do solo faster than grped with a skald.

If the skald is quick however he will keep u safe from stealthers, if the bd has his pets on passive the skald can mess any PAing infil be4 he get off CD

Skold has a reaction time of 12-15 secs so thats kinda hard
