New tactic in ganking greys

This experience ruined my fun nite in Camlann last nite with my Ranger.

A purp con savage stands at the bindstone where i release to death. I come back to life and run to the hills to rebuff myself and get rdy for some sniping.
I noticed him following me, but my immunity timer was up so i couldn't be touched so i didn't care.

I rebuffed and stealthed. The purp con savage lost my track and starting to pm me asking if i wanted to group with em. I say sure, I destealthed, he invites me in group and suddenly while i was chatting with him in group;
he disbands and start wacking me FFS. (start wacking, one shotted me tbh...)

I know griefers may enjoy this and normally I avoid purp con with stealth but his was really pathetic imo :/

I had similar tactics used against me (ppl talking to u waiting for ur timer to expire and then gank you => Lame imo)

But hey, <shrugs> that is life i suppose (looks like I am the only one who only kills ppl with reward :/)

Happens all the time tbh. I would use some witty reply like "cry more" or something to that effect, but this has happened to me plenty of times and it does suck.

Bah. Doesn't even happen all the time tbh. It just depends on where you tend to play your game: Go to MM and be sure to see this happening. If you bother to think about your playing and the areas u like to hunt, you'll prolly be left quite well in peace. In other words: u get what you want. If you play the game like an ass, you'll be getting it up in your ass, that's what's sure.

Btw: being naive and not seeing through the things like the original post tells about, plainly speaks for itself. Would I take off my stealth and join con purple, if I didn't know him? Inexperienced player? Ok, now he/she knows NOT to do that stupid mistake again.

I might sound a bit hars, but coming to play in PvP and just hanging aroud MM and then whining about getting ganked all the time is just pathetic. There are so many posts here in BW about "getting ganked all the time"... Makes me puke soon. If one is playing PvP only to camp MM, then the one should stfu. There is approx. 3/4 of the whole area NOT being overpopulated by gankers: try and look around.

Well grey ganking usually only happens if ur camping towns with ur little PVP grp, never really happens if u go xp.

I grey kill most people in pvp towns (well.. atleast i greykill all fotm's not xping, i respect people xp'ing and leave em alone, unless yellow/orange and worth reward.)

It happened alot to me high lvl people said "peace" and then as soon as i left the exit of the dungeon im dead, i've learnt to ignore it and best thing to do is to find another spot then.

being grey killed is NOTHING, just wait untill u ding 35 and u'll be green to evry 50 out there, ur res sick is barely gone be4 another fg 50's comes by and gank u (atleast in df and highlvl dungeons).

When pvp started a Merc did that to me but he was yellow to my sb then, i just snared him ran a little then turned stealthed and pa'd him dead

Heh and zyberchick you camped outside jordheim grouped with some lowbie guy who was yellow to my lvl 20 and you purple (orange to my shaman at 32) and you kept killing me when he attacked me and such, so you not much good tbh

hehe well usually i only come there to kill other's on my lvl but evry time i fight some1 i got 20 greys leeching my RPs so i just gank em all

And prolly left due to Red Hands guild came and took over my grey ganking job :]

I tried Camlann out when the excal login server was down.

made 3 lvl's and then someone fooled me into try kill him. stoopid me. Yes he was purpcon and promised he wouldn't hit back. Anyway it's interesting to see what some ppl do just to earn a few rp's.

greys are not worth ANYTHING fyi and as soon as u learn where NOT to go you wont run into as many assholes

welllllllll u have to think about it logically, would a purple con savage who keeps killing u and can 1 shot people ur level reaaaaaaaally want to grp with u?

Today in Cots there was a purp con chanter (cant remember name :/) she kept pbaoe'ing at the bindstone/healer/ppl fighting each other
But she got stlong amount of spam
