LOL, just remembered how Bognor cinema advertised the last star wars film. Being too tight to buy proper posters, or too skanky to have any distributor touch them with a barge pole, they make their own posters. Really large posters.

well i think its time GL gave up the SW franchise
this looks boring to me...
SW has had its day, and this isnt gonna add anything new or interesting to the whole story.
it looks just the same as every other SW movie (with better visuals it has to be said)

whats this crap people are taking. Saying a movie or book has to add something interesting to a storie. The main thing is entertaining not "adding" things. imho SW hasn't got the magic it once had but if the movie is fun I'll watch it. Who wants magic go to the magic show please.

Unless I'm completely misunderstanding your point and you meant "Dunno why GL doesn't just make a totally CG film", he isn't making a totally CG film. He's shooting a film using digital cameras all the way through, something that hasn't been done for a live action film yet.

Seing as nearly 90% of screen space is occupied by SFX
As for final fantasy I only saw a small piece of it in a 40" Plasma Screen ans was blown away by the quality of the picture

Anyone remember that faux-trailer that was "released" about a year ago, and was done by clever usage of clips of other films, IE Braveheart for mass jedi battles etc...
Turns out it was, apart from the casting of the main lead (Skywalker) that it was fairly accurate after all...

Oh and Ep2 still looks a bit pants tbh. Doesn't register on the ooh! scale quite as high as it should imo.
