Pos eso que hay un foro pa que toda la peña española del daoc pueda discutir del juego y tal , ponerse a parir entre reinos xDD , rajar de los guiris, etc... ala a ver si entre todos hacemos que crezca.

Is there a rule which says all spanish people MUST make a macro saying..

"giv gold plz plz plz plz"

and then spam it as soon as you've got bored of being level 2 ?

No offence meant, but after the 100th spaniard runs across to where I'am crafting or twatting a mob, spamming this stuff, it gets a little old fast. Though when I ask them why their guild cant help, I get the "no spk englesh"....... <sigh>

May well be a minority, but the minority seem to target me......

Your post reveals so much ignorance that I find it amusing. I don’t like beggars neither, but I can’t say beggars belong to a community in particular. Your comment just shows you like a poor guy with xenophobic tendencies. Anyway, for all these people that couldn’t understand about what this post is. If you click on the link of Kastrelos you will find Spanish forums for DAoC.

As I did say, and apologised as I started my previous post, this is my experience and I mentioned it was a minority (though I the numbers have increased of recent). I know 99% of the Spanish community are totally ok - my comment was a little out of turn, but certainly from my most recent experiences based on fact.

There are no deliberate xenophobic undertones, its a fact that I have witnessed. As for the ignorance, well, maybe but I'am more cynical these days about this kind of thing - why is it a language barrier should be used to hide behind for begging ? In more ways, Iam the one who is insulted by the sheer cheek of the practice of begging and then when I question the given beggar only to get a reply of almost rude proportions.

Yes, I must either be wrong or both of us have over-reacted.

Ignore me, venting for no apparent reason.

;)

I'm not Spaniard but as a Spanish speaker (I'm Peruvian) I felt offended by your post and I wrote with my head still hot. I understand what you said. It happened to me many times but I can't judge a population of <insert language here> speakers just because some sad souls. It is frustrating tho. I just tend to ignore beggars specially if they are guilded. Anyway no hard feelings :)
