hi all.. what about goa/mythic makes a new server, where you can choose what language it has to be on ( eng,ger,fra).. or remake one of the other big servers ... because . atm: there is 2 ger, 2 eng, 2 fra, normal servers,,

but all the full servers are allso fra, and ger.. then why not make a language pack for one of them ?

just teh ppl that are used to one thing leaves.. they fear change, always has been this way and it will be like that.

anyhow...
take teh pvp server for example:
all languages allowed and its a massive pain, due to the fact that most of the ppl from french and german servers dont even wanna bother learnign to use english when they talk.. this causes segregation on the server altho some of them are able to adapt to the fact that its not only a language specific server.

i would like to see a 3rd english server just so the ppl that liek to keep away from all the german and french ppl can play in peace there.. since now you have to start on a german or french server if you wanna play the 3rd realm...

As I understand it the [FULL] tags were added to disuade new players from starting on them, they were marked 'normally' at one point.

As for language packs, assuming i'm thinking of what your thinking of (language files being client-side, not server-side) ideally it would be better, but then Mythic has only ever catered to an English speaking community (well... if you consider Americanise as English ), there isn't much incentive for them to do it themselves and GOA arn't allowed to tinker with DAoC.

Who knows though? Maybe they'll see some reason to do it. But I wouldn't think it very likley, to be totally honest with you I can't see much point in it (Except for the obvious 'thrid English-server' issue).

PvP server stats that it is a ENGLISH SERVER alows French/german but whilst speaking in broad or via pm to a stranger you must speak in ENGLISH

Nah not really... rember when Thefirst moon landing 'supposdly' took place rember that big computer room they had to comunicat and do all that crap?

Well that is 10 times slower than the pc you and I have in our homes

tbh most of the lag is server lagg so it dosnt matter what machine you run on you will still get it

in your camelot folder try the PvP_Rules thing read it and see unless they changed it
