Ok so here it is
Someone mentioned percentages to me before in regards to deathwatches aq league.
I'll use ukvs match vs thc which we played last night in bwq3utl as the example.
Ricochet 6 to ukv 5 to thc
Revolution 172 to ukv and 192 to thc (these are wrong but who cares )
Calculate percentages of score accumulated out of total score on each map
Ricochet
UKV = 100(6 /11) = 54.5 %
THC = 100(5/11) = 45.5 %
Revolution
UKV = 100(172/364) = 47.3%
THC = 100(192/364) = 52.7%
Now take averages
ukv = (54.5 + 47.3)/2 = 50.9
thc = (45.5 + 52.7)/2 = 49.1
I think this is the best league scoring system out of any ive seen.
And from it.. Instead of accumulating points via map win. Clans accumulate points on this system as follows.
Multiply the percentages by 10 and we get
ukv = 509 points
thc = 491 points.
Hence because of this clans that dont turn up suffer great penalties which is always good.
And clans that didnt get a match because of a clan not turning up get a score of 500 points.
