I'm after a new PC for when I move into my new apartment and I've got space for a desk! I'm pretty hot on server hardware, but I've not really kept up with the desktop PC scene for the last, erm, 10 years or so!

I've got a limited budget and I'm not bothered about the latest, cutting-edge games (got a PS3 for that) but I would like to play;

Half-Life 2 (and the various addons)
Dragon-Age: Origins (if the PC version is much better than the console one)
Championship Manager 2009 (with the 3D goodness :p)
DAOC and/or WoW

Generally some older-gen titles, nothing too fancy. I'd like to build in some potential for upgrades, but I'm trying to really do it on a budget. This is what I came up with (part-codes are for the mighty CCL Computers who are based near me in Bradford.

MOBO/CPU/RAM/Cooler - MBB-INT-MID - £159
2GB Extra RAM (4GB) - RAM0207 - £30.94
Case (Antec 200) - CAS5362 - £34.58
PSU (CoolerMaster) - PSU1070U - £34.99
GFX (CCL Choice) - VGA1139 - £67.10
HDD (500GB WDCB) - HDD0844 - £49.78
DVD-RW - CDR4439 - £17.44
SATA Cable - CAB0126 - £2.09
IDE Cable - CAB0009 - £4.89
Power Cable - CAB8008 - £3.98
Windows 7 Pro OEM - SFT0123 - £109.99
20" Ilyama WS Monitor - MON4019 - £104.99

Total - £619.77

Full Spec;

Biostar G31D Motherboard
Intel Core2Duo E7500
4GB DDR2-800 RAM
Antec Two Hundred ATX Midi-Tower Case
500GB Western Digital Caviar Black HDD
Samsung DVD-RW
GeForce GT240 1GB GFX Card
CoolerMaster 460W PSU
Windows 7 Professional 64-Bit OEM
20" Ilyama ProLite Widescreen Monitor

Any part of that seriously wrong or am I missing anything vital? Went for the GT240 mainly because CCL do a "CCL Choice" rebadged generic version that's a few quid cheaper than the various Sparkle/Sapphire versions floating about. The RAM is bog-standard DDR2-800. The Mobo/CPU/RAM/Cooler bundles seem like pretty good value, but I'm not convinced by the awesome Biostar brand!! That said, you get a three-year warranty on the package, which seems good.

Any advice would be appreciated from all you PC gurus :)
