THERE IS NOW A NEW PATCH OUT. IT IS IN LITE FORM:)

BUT THERE IS ALSO A GOTY MAP PACK OUT TOO. 7 NEW MAPS. THE FILE SIZE COULD BE A ISSUE FOR SOME, IT'S 49MB:sex:

IS THE LEAGUE SERVERS LIKELY TO BE READY FOR MONDAY?

NEW MAPS. WOW AND 7 OF THEM :flame: COOL

that actually raises a good question even on my 128 cable con its gonna take about an hour to get all them maps so god knows what its gonna be like for a modem user i just hope the league takes this into cinsideration and waits a very long time b4 implementing these new maps or else they may have a serious problem with alot of clans not being able to play the first week they do it

Well just the lite 1.33 patch is 4.1Mb and the full 1.33 is 9.9Mb so not too bad.
The extra Mb's come in if you download the maps...

So the leagues will probably be able to update if not this week then definitely next me reckons

I dare say your right there. Is it backwardly compatible? I doubt new maps will be played soon, especially as the rest of the weeks maps are seemingly already there. Dunno.

I just read that it's not a protocol change so if the servers are updated people with 1.32 can play on them. But, people with 1.33 patch won't be able to play on 1.32 servers unless they're unpure.

i have just got in from work,so i will read up on it l8r this evening and let everyone know what will happen with it l8r this evening.

but i should think if we say get it ready for next weekend then there is plenty of time for modem ppl to get it and install it over the next week.

Personally I think it would be good if the servers were upgraded to 1.33. Most of the other main server people ie Games Domain Blue Yonder have already upgraded.

Otherwise we will have to run two different versions of wolf on our pc which is a bit of a pain. The patch without the maps is onl 5 meg so should be easy enough to get even for those poor 56k souls ;)

I am sure that the league wont play the new maps till next season anyway.

I've just been informed from server brass that the servers are already set to restart with the new patch at 6am tomorrow morning. So upgrade, I guess. :) We'll get a news posty on there, with any luck people can play on the 1.33 server with 1.32 as there's no fundamental changes, still protocol 59.

1.33 boots u for impure clients when u connect with 1.32 =/

Well ICE and Tram are 2 of the maps in the pack anyway, andTrenchtoast is already expected of you at Jolt, so theres only a fe new ones on there anyway... I'm dling it 2nite.

Have to see how the new maps play.. 1 or 2 will probably make it into the season two map list

i'm having some problems with MP_DAM , in the stairs next to the main objective , i get a huge frame drop :eek6:
it gets realy low when someone is firing or its more them 2 players , looking from the botton to the top ( 10 , 20 fps )

( its not from pc, i think its from the map )

anyone have it ?

the other 3 are fine :) ( no bugs so far )

I'm not a tech wiz, but I think most players experience this in the stairs next to the main objective. Last time I played Dam for a while I almost got sick and wanted to :puke: all over the screen.

Apart from that, this map invites the Axis to camp around the main objective in a 6 vs 6 setting:(
