New Nvidia Dets.Editmebe not so new)

For all you fellow GeForce and Nvidia ppl, the new Detonator drivers (version 28.32) were released on 3/21/2002 and are available here:

I'm off to install them, any of you tested them already??

Yeah, got the drivers Crapini, but thanks anyways Don't have to worry about stuff like that. Buffy is always trying to get the latest things for out PC's.

I found after upgrading to directx 8.1 avp2 and midtown madness2 I just get a screan of choppy gfx.

I'm not sure its down to directx but thats the only thing I installed between the time of them working and when they went choppy .

I use the manufactuers drivers for my gfx card but I might change over to detonator soon .

Blah... Drivers...

I gave up chasing the latest and greatest after I found that the latest & greatest couldn't generate the signals required for my (12 year old now) 800x600 SVGA monitor... Sad but true, those new fangled drivers ain't SVGA compatable.

I also gave up after trying 3 successive updates in 640x480 anyways and finding that they were broken... Stupid stuff like random crashes... My advice is : If you're comfortable with your display drivers and your machine is stable : DON'T FIX IT, IT AIN'T BROKEN.

They work or not? With the last latest Detonator drivers my PC kept crashing with nv4_disp errors :/

mine works, i dont do any special stuff tho, i just install and play, not knowledgable to dive into the advanced settings.
