Only one problem... though it actually helps with CS.

Everynow and then it spasms upward by like an inch on my monitor.

Very handy for close combat HS

Though very annoying if you're trying to snipe

I had that problem. Try uninstalling the drivers you got with the mouse and use the default Windows one's and you shouldn't get any probs at all.

The latest drivers 4.12 i think are very good, the previous 4 series ones gave me problems.

There is a grid issue in most games that is more noticible at lower resolutions. Basically the mouse moves in a grid like squares rather than smoothly, so if your using a low res 800 or below, you will notice huge jerking and un smooth movements. Use high res.

Been using 640 since I started playing. The PC I began playing on couldn't handle those beta goody graphics with it's 8meg card so I had to use software.

Since then I've tried switching to 800 and also 1024, but I just can't.

Dunno why I'm explaining meself.

im using an everglide giganta optical - expensive, but bloody good

I'm not convinced about opticals, mines nice for general use, but in CS, if I try to do a fast 180 I end up looking at the ceiling. I think I need a decent mat. My old one made the x-hair twitch all over the place, the only thing I've found that is remotely usable is a piece of paper with a bit of printing on it.

Might give one of them everglide do-hickys a try when I'm rich, I hear the dual opticals are miles better too?

Ive never tried any downloaded drivers for my MS Oppy Mouse. Plugged in and it worked stright away (Win2k). Ill try the 4.12 tonight iir.
