New Mod Unveiled!

Well, the cat is now officially retired, so it was time to find a replacement. We had absolutely hoards of people apply this time round, and it's taken so long to come to a decision because so many of you put forward a very good case. Even some people who I thought would apply just as a joke made me stop and think, and all in all it's been a bit of an eye opener.

It wasn't easy at all to come to a decision, we managed to whittle it down to a final three and then procrastinate for ages, drink lots of tea and then ran away hoping the decision would be made easier in the morning. Anyway, the person we finally chose (and it was a very hard decision, and thank you to everyone who applied) was chosen because he has been with the forums a long time, is well known within the community both here in the forums and in game, and is generally a nice guy. It was a slight advantage that we've known him for some time (and can guarantee his lack of psychosis or ambitions to rule the world).

Thanks again to all the people that applied, you're all mad as hatters because its a thankless task, but the world needs people who have no idea what they're letting themselves in for

Anyway - welcome, and be gentle, to the new mod - Flimgoblin.
