New Maps on CTF ?

I don't know about anyone else, but I am getting just a little tired of the same maps day in, and day out. Could we possibly have some new CTF maps loaded onto the servers. What does everybody else think ?

Plus : I know this may be a sore subject, but other servers allow custom skins, how about barrysworld maybe perhaps ??

i agree with ya we could do with a few more maps on. could we ditch the map ctf_kln2 and add ctf_and2 or somthing similar

we run a ef custom map server. if you would like more maps added to the ctf custom please email me at: eliteforce@barrysworld.com

no we do not allow custom skins, this is mainy due to the fact that the server have little disk space. Also it takes time to added these skins to the servers. If you email me at eliteforce@barrysworld.com and make your requstes i will review them, and reply. But please do not send maps or skins in with your email.

Don't get me wrong, I don't want to see the end of all the maps, just a surprise one thrown in - a bit like a guest map every month - just to make to whole experience a bit more interesting - a case of - 'Oh look a new map cool, and ok now where the hell is the enemy flag'. There used to be map with two high platforms, and a really low route inbetween bases - Can't remember the name unfortunately, but I thought this was a good map. This may be the map that is possibly spelt wrong after spy glass that may be causing that server glitch (possibly). You could do the same with a guest skin as well - like oh look its johnny bravo HAHA

Does anyone know which is considered to be the best voice chat program - I use ICQ phone when I am playing on line with one of my pals, which works exellently, but is restricted to 2 ppl chatting at once (like a normal phone call)- I've tried Roger Wilco (mmmm Don't like this one)

well we could do that, but it means turning map downloading back on, and we turned this off in the first place becuase it was crashing the servers. Yes i know what map you mean, this was a starnded map. we removed it beaucse we were always getting ppl saying they dont like it and it should be removed. there is no miss spelled map.

Ok Great - Thanks everyone - One little problem

Battlecom was great - I used to use it when playing Quakeworld all those years ago, but I have an NTL cable modem now, and can't connect to any server on battlecom, and when I try and host it stays connect for about a minute then disconnects - Has anyone had this problem with an NTL cable modem - A friend of mine is also having the same problem.

Think it might have something to do with the assignment of a seperate IP address.

Would be very grateful for any help Cheers
