hehe looks good, very close combat, street fighting, US start with 3 Blackhawks just across a small lake from the main town. Should be a good sight to see all 3 loaded with troops air lift them into the town.

Kinda reminds me of Blackhawk Down.

This map totally totally rocks. At first it seems like allieds can't ever possibly win, and then you realise that it is a dream map, because blue can only win IF they work together. This is enough to make the stupidest TKer play properly (almost).

The only problem you have to watch out for, is lame Opposition Anti Armor walking all the way around the map, then camping Allies airbase with stingers/rpg7's :/

Apart from that tho, it's an outstanding map

hehe I've never actually thought of that - bit lame, but then some people will do anything to get to the top of the score board

I played this map quite a bit over the weekend and its a nightmare to get on any server running it as they fill up immediately.
It really is very hard to win as US, and the Opposition get to use the heavy assault machinegun thingy, which is real nasty in close-in fighting, as it tends to kill which 1 or 2 hits at that range.
However, that said, I reckon the popularity of this map is because its very similar to CS as its primarily mano e mano.

Theres 1 server out there dedicated solely to this map and its IMPOSSIBLE to get on. Perhaps we should have one too, as it'll draw the CS skiddies in (anythng that draws anyone into our servers must be a good thing)

I think the dedicted server to this map is good but i think we can live without the CS kiddies.

Do you mean a dedicated server thats open to the public, or just another one thats for Subs only?

If its subs only, there wont be any players - just like usual

I'm only too aware of the issue of "hiding" our servers behind our subs system, believe me.
Yeah, it would have to be subs only, as the alternative simply isnt an option open to me.

Acutally no, its both CS and the players. They're a matching made in heaven, as so to speak.


And Mr Dog, I take it game isn't going to do anything about its remarkable lack of players - short of simply giving its service up. They didn't appear to pay much notice to the community last time they made changes... (you won't remember me, I'm one of those random people you met in the BW boom who used to help run one of your splinter websites - don't feel bad, I wouldn't remember me either). Its rather a shame too, I liked Barrysworld...
