New guild forming...

Hi people of midgard/excalibur

As some of u read my last post on RvR Discussion about Mids in RvR u should know me a little better by now..

let me tell u abit about my self...

Before i moved to Mid/Exc i used to play on Alb/Exc
I used to play in/with guilds like FC, GoL, Prodigy and some more.
Since i moved to Mid i kinda allways had a dream of joining NP...
Wich is not possible for me atm becouse they arent recruiting at all...

So after i've played about 1 month or so in Mid/Exc i saw all them nice and guildless players out there who are looking for a nice guild and cant get any becouse ppl arent recruiting.

And i also had a dream of joining a guild wich had prefixed grp's going in RvR or else orther places...

Im a Berserker RR5L6 name Morkai.. I've been playing this game for a while now and i have couple of lvl 50's on hib/pryd as well..
I know my class very well and i play very good with it..

Im about to start a new guild if i get ppl interested enough.. normally didnt wanted to post here becouse ppl think its to childish etc. etc.
I want to start a guild with some old skilled players who got time and patience of making smth outta the guildless nerds
Most of them are Inactive now, but i want em to get active again.

This is gonna be like this...
Oldschool grp's with oldschool ppl, like they used to some time ago..

First of all i will intend of trying to run 2 fg's in RvR if needed at anytime, otherwise just 1fg out...Im going for prefixed teams in RvR if possible, wich is very hard to make becouse ,ost ppl dont have time enough for it..

This is how my grp in emain is gonna look like..
Berserker, Savage(h2h), Runemaster(RC), Healer(Pac), Healer (mend/aug), Shamman (42aug), Warroir(S&S), Skald(50 weapon).

This is what i prefer for a nice grp, i hope some of u are interested and are serious enough to make this happend becouse i really want 2!

Guildname is gonna be Amistad wich means Friendsship in Latin language

/yawn - another new guild....

Mid already has way too many guilds IMO, rather than try forming new ones, why not try breathing new life into old ones?

Some guilds out there do have players who want more RvR, but wont leave their m8s, to name one - Aesirs Bladce have a good player base, and look for new life all the time. Im sure they are not alone looking for new players to bring a little more excitement into things.

Sorry AB for the name drop, but I know you got a lot of peeps who wont leave and want more out of the RvR side, and like I say, you are not alone.

hehe dark RM's are good bu RC are better.. what i need RC for is to 2 shot casters at anytime and i know that is possible cuz i seen my friend do it lotsa times.. he is lvl 48 atm and we were out just him and me.. met a sorc and an inf he 1 shotted the sorc and 2 shotted inf after i hit him twice he had like 60-70% hits left..

thats the only reason i want RC RM is for taking out casters at long range asap and interrupting em etc

Midgard is kinda crappy atm, by my standards. And no, I don't mean classes, zergs or whatever. Just the global atmosphere.

Although I use to solo my way in rvr (you know me :] ), the socializing aspect is still important to me. I can't socialize with egocentric arses or kids that use "omg lol" every second word.

We all know that most of the oldies play for the people, as the game itself lost the appeal long time ago. That's me.

On topic, please try and "consume" the existing guilds, before thinking of creating more. That's what albs do. I'm sure you'll find a guild that fits you.

He was referring to the spelling of the guild name in your sig I believe. Good luck with the guild but as many have said already, try to sort out the guild you are in at the moment instead of simply creating another guild. A fresh start can be tempting but its really not that helpful.

Oh and osy you come across a tad too arrogant on BW.

I could do with a good RvR guild but first I gotta get my healer or skald upto lvl50 I'm definately "old school" daoc player with about 4million rps on my accs, so plvl me and I'll join

We have not long done the same thing on hib/pry (severance btw ) it's been a struggle to get it up & running as 2fg's ...but i think it's there now we have the same ppl who run in our grps almost everynight & damn fun most the time

Advantages of this:

No more yelling "LFG"
No more spending ages looking for a grp then everyone disbands 10 mins later
You get to work well as an RvR grp & get to know e/others play style etc..
Eventually you will "pwn"

Disadvantages:
*Some* other guilds will not like the idea. (numerous reasons)

Overall, Starting a dedicated RvR guild is a good thing. If enough players want to join the guild then why not? you pay to play the game the way you want to enjoy it. I was close to quitting hib/pry altogether because RvR was so damn bad trying to find & stick with a descent rvr grp each night. But severance has changed that

Go for it greg m8, if other ppl dont like it, then so be.. your guild will be the 1 of the few out there on a regular basis having fun

mmz ive pld since beta i still enjoy putting the smack down on ppl as all my old friends have quit

Friends in the game yes i do agree if u rnt having fun with the ppl in ure guild this game isnt worth a grain of salt

Well thx alot mate Btw i play on hib/pryd as well maybe u heard of me some time ago tho..
Name Koss 47 NS! took me 3 hours after a DR to get ppl to go emain and get some keeps back and not only staring in teh air as they do in hib/pryd... no offence but its really underpopulated and ppl cba going RvR if they aint stealthers cuz they know they will loose.. the only guild i've seen in RvR when i played hib was NP and they got ganked as well many times..

But thx again mate i hope some ppl in mid will realize it and try to make the best out of it and have fun.. not yelling LFG etc
