New Gaming ISP offering q2 servers!

Yep a new ISp is around offering some nice q2 servers for usall to use, I'll post their IPs up so you can go check em out, they are in Beta Testing at the moment (as are the 0800 dialups) but their service seems to be great at the moment (I am a beta tester!)

They are also offering free 'clan adminned' servers, basicly a clan takes control of a server, but has to leave it open to the public until 10pm, after this time they can have it all to themselves.

They have also expressed interest in running a Quake 2 league, and I'm sure if there are any good mods that they have missed off that list, just go and tell them about it and they will probly get a server up for it.

I'm sorry - I also play quake 2 a lot and intended posting some relevant quake 2 stuff on the forums as well - you wont hear another peep from me about Netgames (To be honest I was simply doing ppl a favour by giving em some new servers to try!)

Anyway, the Beta Test is still open to any1 who wants a try, its 0800 access for 24hrs - but you'll needa CC to signup with (dont worry they wont do an AOL and start charging you if u dont want it after the test!)

Seeing as I'm a bw person through n through can i just raise the following probs with netgames?

=> dialup was ok till more ppl signed up - it's shit now - got cut off 4 times last night and random times, got engaged tones when trying to dial in, and the q2 speed is only really ok on netgames servers

=> there's no jailbreak server!

Right back to work I spose.

Just letting everyone know of a few more q2 servers that have popped up, rather than letting them go to waste, at the end of the day we all want to play the game, so I decided to let people know of a new place to play it. At the end of the day its up to the players where they choose to play, I am giving them another option.

I DO NOT get paid by them (I dont do anything!!)

Oh.. and I'm having no probs with their beta test, but bear in mind it is a Beta test and the whole point of it is to fix any problems they have. Its been suggested that people with problems post a traceroute and postcode etc so they can sort that specific problem out.
