New Frontiers (SI/Classic client) - System requirement question

I installed it recently on my laptop and was wondering if the increased system requirements apply allredy or just after we get 1.70?

runs same on my computer,, seems to cope better with the zergs in NF then current tho.

Mmm....reason for asking is because some of the GM's told me that the frontiers client would demand SI system requirements and since the laptop cant handle SI I wanted to get a response.

Then again I might be able to run around in classic zones and it crashes when going into NF...but I can run in the housing zone (lag hell sure but still).

in 1,69 winXP preformance got better so might still work...
