It is quite old, but I only just discovered it a few weeks back too.
http://www2.ati.com/misc/demos/ATI-9700-animusic-Movie-v1.0.mpg for an .mpg version of that. The .exe file basically uses your graphics card to render all of that shit.

animusic is quite cool tbh
