New Classes you'd like to see?

Well, Mythic are adding a new race and new classes to each realm in the expansion, but which classes would you like to see?

A Gladiator class for Albion would be nice. He could specialize in a Trident and Net, and wear chain armour.

Both Trident and Net will have their own spec lines. Most importantly, he can throw the net at the enemy rooting them for a 'fixed' period(like roots in RvR), he can take advantage of this using special Trident moves. At higher levels, he'll be able to use Large Nets and AoE trap mobs.

The Net will also work as a shield, allowing the Gladiator to 'parry' attacks. Also, better nets will be spiked allowing you to swing it at the enemy to make them bleed, or if you trap them, it will have a DoT effect, aswell as the damage you inflict with your Trident.

The next class for Midgard isn't very realistic, but would be funny to see. The class in question is a Dominatrix. Obviously a master with the whip and clad in leather.

She'll be able to summon a Gimp to do her bidding(like Cabalists/Enchanters/Spiritmasters). Now, the Gimp can be used to 'restrain' the enemy, leaving the Dominatrix free to whip him into submission(or for as much damage that can be inflicted untill the hold lasts). She'll also have very strong Debuffs, taunting and humiliating the mob will see to this!

Haven't thought of one for the Hibs yet, but I expect they'll have something equally absurd soon enough ;)

Ok, this would lead to blatant rp farming, as the albs would be lining up to be "whipped into submission" ;)

Just a thought; who would like to, by free will, career as a "Gladiator", as it originally was like some form of slavery/punishment, to be made to fight vicous animals and fellow gladiators... ;)

A barbarian for albion. Able to wield two TWO-HANDED weapons at a time, with a slightly different dps naturally. Then he would have shouts and such to boost stats, you could say that the shouts would be buffs. About the armor he could wear... well hmm... hard to say. I mean he could wear up to plate IF his 2h weapons had decreased dps when he uses them.... then only up to studded if he got the full dps out of the 2h weapons. Whirlwind would also be nice ;) and leap.

Well how about Albs get a class that can change shape, Hibs and Mids both have one so why cant we Albs.

A Gladiator wouldn't fit into the Albion culture. But I'm really curious what kind of class it is really gonna be.. Because I can't think of any that is totally different from the ones we have now..

how about a Knight that can ride horse into battle and that way you can have battles on horse back..... with them metal spiked balls on chains, josting from the horse back

Romans! I am sure they could be squeezed into Albion somehow, after all there's roman tombs and all that everywhere in the realm. I want to play a real legionarius, wearing the cool armor the guys in the Catacombs of Carvoda have. With a real tower shield, gladius and a pilum for throwing.

Roma victor!

Or: Nubians. Something like that, could be remotely connected with the saracens.

Isn't it obvious

Midguard desperately needs a tertiary healer class (or was that shamen but they forgot the second...)
Possibly a non fighter with magic based around offence and healing.. Maybe some priest of Thor or something......

Albs are crying out for a commis chef class with speccing in tin opening to help them get undressed.

Hibs need an eco warrior who specialises in burying themselves in the ground and lying down to stop the incoming Midgard tanks ;-)

^^^^^ Diablo2 playa :)

imo i think albion seriously needs a non human character .. summin like a leperachaun or summin like that . i used leperachaun as an example cos they derive from ireland ? and after all lab is set in britain. a leperachaun could also be our version of the kobold/lurikeen midget char :)

cant comment on hibs/mids cos they seem to have both humans and fugly chars :)

If you get insta stuns can we get the Uber area damage hyper long range spells! ;P
Hibernia aren't a melee nation stun is a melee tool. I say have the stun but if you do get a nerf on the casting ;P

Albion should get a charmer
Can't deal any damage at all at any level and has 10hp at level 50.
It'd be great!
Did i mention he can charm the dragon?

Nah, not Necromancer, don't belong in Midgard, perhaps a shapeshifter follower of Loke.

I would love to see a jester character for Albion. He could run around beffudling people by hitting them with a pig's bladder on a stick.:D

And of course we'd have to have the traditional 3 pointed hat with bells on.
Suggested skill trees:
Joculation
Buffudling
Prancing
Annoyance

:fluffle:

As a suggestion for Hibernia - the leprechaun.

Barbarian

Barbarian is a term for bearded non romans though, it more readily fits with the northern european tribes.

Possibly bring in a true Pict race and have a clansman class that they and the highlanders can be. No armour above leather (no studded) but with fearful meelee adds and chants to self buff...
