New Cheat?

i was just on barrysworld 9 playin on Dust, when all of a sudden my comp froze and started soundlooping.

This happened a few days ago also, in roughly the same area (The doorway overlooking the tunnel)

But thing is, when i come back, my team mate said his comp also just crashed..

I remember when i first started about a cheat of some kind, where if a person looks at you you get cut off from the server (Think PunkBuster fixed?)


Anyone else had this problem / know what it is?

More likely a problem with HL/CS than a cheat.

Not a cheat, I believe its a bug with CSGuard.

There sure is a cheat going by that description, there used to be a link to a fix for it on Jolt's website but since the overhaul I can't f'king find it :/

Aye, like i said, when i first started CounterStrike gaming, there was some sort of Bug/Cheat out, where if someone looked at you, it would make your game crash

i believed PunkBuster fixed that, so maybe they brought a newer version of this out?

As I understand, it's a bug with CSGuard, it's happened to me and my mate at the same time before now.

I think the old bug was an invalid model fault, where some git would load up an invalid hostage model, and the client computers would all go mental trying to load it up. It didn't require you to look at or be looked at.

I occasionally get a crash, followed by a 'cannot load custom decal' or something, which I've never got to the bottom of.
