I have a lvl 16 chanter atm specced high in mana (shock) and tried the new improved pet dmg shield last night on the sheeries near the TNN north entrance. The sheeries were orange and yellow to me. I put the shield on the pet (Ally) and stood and watched (you can't cast and keep the shield on the pet) the pet took down 3 sheeries at once (orange and 2 yellows) and hardly took a hit. The only problem being that the shield sucked up quite a lot of mana. Anyone else tried it ?- I think is going to be a great solo leveling tool and much less risk than the current - run in and spam pbaoe method that I use on blues.
