New Athlon 64 vs Intel HT

I've got a Intel HT chip 3gig with 1gig DDR and can run 2 toa accounts stuck and with speed, just wondering how the althons cope with it...

Anyone tried both and know which performs better?

Intel with HT has the edge purely because of the way that DAoC is coded, however the new /clientsleep command benefits the A64 greatly and 2 accounts are now easily possible. All that said, the A64 is streets ahead of Intel in the majority of other games and that trend will continue till either Intel can move the Pentium M to the destop and ramp up the clock speed or fab the chips as dual core. AMD still have some headroom as far as clock speeds go on the A64 and their dual core setup is already in an advanced testing phase so it is likely that AMD will also have a dual core A64 before Intel have an dual core processors to speak of.

btw u didn't even say what graphic card u got and what ram etc
