New Armour - Making MP's

Anyone had problems getting MP items made with the new armour?

Etched Leather Crown has been a nightmare for me, with caped Tailoring skills made 80 yesterday got around 14 x 99% not one MP. Costs a fortune with 100 Zo Gems at close to 3p.

Luckily I made MP Etched leather arms first go, so not a complete loss.

My 4 RF pieces for the bard have cost me about 13 plats to make (wreath, boots, sleeves and gloves).

However I'd consider it as quite unlucky instead of a bug. The problem is that the money you spend on the RA gems is not reimbursed when you sell back the low quality items. I would advise against retemplating (or at least against using multiple 1.85 armour, try to keep it at 1-2 pieces the most) and crafters, make sure you get some money in advance before preparing the order

THinking about asking for at least 100 patterns per item they want made, certainly not gonna farm them all to make for others.

Took me 60 crafts (120 patterns) to get MP cloth leggings. They do sell back for a little more than regular leggings but you also do lose more on them. And because everyone is making themselves MPs the market seems flooded with 99's that other crafters are selling way below cost price (even for one retry never mind the 4 or 5 you need to make a 99).

Given the insane prices for patterns atm there's more cash in farming patterns than in crafting with them.

Was legs that were my bane, they took about 90-100 retries...
But I got crown on second retry

I've been tweaking my new armour sets to use MP old armour and 99% new armour. Only made one item so far of the new stuff, 99% first try.

May start making higher stuff over time I guess, got 94 patterns left.

Thats normal, before the 5th slot armour i had on 2 occasions over 200 retries on an mp.

The % chance is exactly the same, nothing has changed except the price of mets.

tell me about it, my mp legs just took me over 100 retries so guess thats around 6-7 plats just for that piece

Half that is zo Gems. I can understand the farming patterns and ingredients but having to buy the most expensive SC gem as well is doubling the price of crafting. Yet again making the game harder for the casual player to compete by pricing stuff out of their reach.

This when what we actually need is an influx of new blood. Anyone that comes into this game now is going to have a nightmare getting everything done to compete and 1.86 will only make it worse
