I bought DAoC classic and after half an hour I got in to the registration page. I fill out the form and klicks on valediate or what ever.... white screen.... 20 minutes passes... still a white screen. suddenly a window pops upp saying that its an error and internet explorer must be shut down. so it does shut down. I get no email.... I try to register again but guess what hapens... "this CD key is allready inuse by another player" .... WTF!!!!!

I got no email and well what can I do?!

Send e-mail to subscription@goa.com with your CD-KEY and explain what happened - it sounds like you successfully registered but your browser crashed before you could get your login and password, and for some reason the e-mail they should have sent you hasn't gone out yet.

If you did manage to put in your correct e-mail address in the signup information, there's still a good chance that you will eventually receive the confirmation e-mail with your login/password when they get the problem (whatever it is) sorted out.

Alrindel, can you confirm that the page after you enter your Cd key tells you what your login and password are. I am new to this and thought that they sent you this information by e-mail. Or does it do both, i.e. tells you on the page after cd key info and by e-mail?

As far as I remember it does both, it displays game and subscription login/password on the confirmation page, and it is also sent by e-mail. Several people have posted here that they did not receive confirmation e-mails with their new subscriptions, so something would appear to be broken, and the timing couldn't be worse with their customer support flooded with SI problems to sort out. :(

I know it's not a very satisfying answer to a horribly frustrating problem, but try and be patient - it will all get put right eventually...

hi .. same thing happend to a friend of my trying to registrate new account: internet explorer went white screen when he pussed validate. no email was sent to him with details either. so there he is with a product that he paid for but cant use... does that sound right?

Exactlly same Problem here.
How can they stop the use of Rightnow? Those staff dont Bugfix and Code the game do they?

Wasting away free account time. Any other Email addresses for Goa to get this sorted.

Reading around Im not expecting a Quick fix. Legally the Product I bought isnt Fit for use. So Ill be Looking a Full refund which Legallly im entitled to.
So will be faster Buying another Bundle and Regeresting that and seeking a refund on version that The Validation Page crashed on and no Email of password.

Topic should be New account stolen by Goa.

Runoff the EXACT same thing happend to me... the only thing im doing these days is updating my inbox on my e-mail to see if I have received an email from DAoC. Its 4 days ago ive written the first mail, and ive gotten no answers...

A shame...

Still nothing here I have not heard of 1 single person getting a reply from Subscription email.
Was even expecting some sort of appology on goa website but no update nothing.

well im sorry, ive said it before but i must say it again...europe customer support is utter crap!

i was talking to someone who played on the american servers, and they said they have customer service folk logged into the game - these are the types you generally harass or they stop you naughty illegally named people :p, even those /stucks you have to wait 4days for a reply for pop up in 10minutes :p
they have this whole appeal system and still get that crappy rightnow type faq thing! http://support.darkageofcamelot.com/cstat/ grr!

have you not wanted to /cheer but just typed /ch? "now checking for appeals"...and nothing comes back :p

whether by the sheer size of america, their laws or the fear of getting sued....they seem to have to have customer support

but whatever they get we should too! we're already a couple months worth of patches behind them...im sure between all us europe people we pay enough money to fund something that works for a change (they seem more bothered about posting "[excal] Alicia runs into tomte trouble" than actual relevant news)

a quick call to anne robinson and her watchdog team should give them the boot they need! except shes left...doh!

Just for fun i mailed them, guess what i got a mail about 10 sec. later. The said that they have received my email and I should receive an email from them within 72 hours. Well i wish i was living in US right now, then i was already playing i guess.
I dont think they will respond since im in EU.... I could almost cry right now....

you get autoreplies from rightnow too ;)

email subscription@goa.com there is no telephone support
or use RightNow.

and I fail to see how 'in-game support' would solve the woes of not being able to get into the game....

tehehe you could log in via normal daoc and moan away! but its true for that kind of problem... but id rather wait 10minutes when i enter a void zone than send to rightnow and wait 4days...each day of which wastes more of my money!

well almost a week now without any word from goa. they wasting my friends money. and they dont seem to bother to reply to the email he sent...

not to mention market research...

somebody high up needs to make a very big apology very soon, otherwise the natives will get even more restless! i cant quite remember...but isnt trading/internet fraud illegal? :p

worth a try m8 but have u got hotmail?

If so make sure ur filters on junk etc were not to high as my first email from goa didnt get through and i had to go looking in junk mail for it
