No lites show or nething, AHHHHH. I cant network the things together, tried network wizard and all that. Installed netbeui. Tried so much yet im dieing. yea, you would need a Network Hub (Cost about 315/20 Low Range ones), or go for a Crossover Cable, im not sure if im right, but i think it cost about £2 p/ metre (or it was a few months back)

You crossover some of the wires so that the contacts are different at each end, dunno which ones. Your local PC shop could make you one in 2 mins, as mine did.

I am not a techie, but, I think you have Cat5 cable and RJ45 connectors, normal network stuff.
You have what you need, just not put together correctly.

Imagine getting a connector from one end of your cable, and then taking it off, rotating the plug 180 through the axis of the cable and then putting it back on. Thats what you need, roughly.
I suggest a google search on crossover cables 'cus I can't be arsed :)

A hub can cost as LITTLE as £25 for a 4 port 10/100 hub

Crossover cable is simple to make, all you need are a new RJ-45 plug (£0.50 each) and you can do it yourself, the cable layouts below (sorry for the appauling way of doing it)
basically remember "One to Three, Two to Six" and thats it ;)

Code:
orange/white - green/white
orange - green
green/white - orange/white
blue - blue
blue/white - blue/white
green - orange
brown/white - brown/white
brown - brown

or you could be cheap and pick up a 2m crossover cable for £3 from PC world (belkin quality, good stuff)

Ar turns out my crimper isnt for RJ45 connecters. And thats gonna be expensive, wuld it be cheaper to pop down the electric store and get them do it?
