When I play q3 over the net it always changes the option in q3 network to isdn.
As I use a modem when I get into the game I must change this back to 56k.
As this has only started happening since I installed gamespy I thought this could be the prob.
Anyone got any ideas.

You are right, it is gamespy messin with ya mind! I think if you run gamespy and look in "tools/options" you will see a set of options for various games, including quake 3! you will see that by default gamespy sets your rate to 2500. you can either increase this or disable the option for GS to set your rate/player model etc completely.
