At the risk of pushing my luck (two threads in a day)

I was wondering if anyone can recommend any Network monitoring tools for Windows 2000. I know theres a few IT admins in here so I was hoping that you could suggest something.

We keep having servers going down and no one noticing ya see
Thanks in advance :)

There's a slew of different tools available for Windows, both commercial and open-source.

The better commercial tools (IME, anyway) are Sniffer and Etherpeek.

As far as open-source stuff goes, you'll probably want to check out Ethereal and of course the Win32 port of tcpdump.

I'd not go within 5 miles of ethereal if I were you. I used for a few months and it was an experience :(

It was slightly annoying that it crashed whenever it noticed a wsp packet(WAP packet, as in the mobile phone crap) which is what I need to track
