IRL savage went berserk in my town yesterday, here's copy of the report:

A MAN was critically ill in an intensive care unit last night after launching a frenzied attack on himself.

The man woke up neighbours, in the early hours of yesterday morning as he smashed up furniture in the front garden of a house, threw household items into the street and then used wooden floorboards to break every window in a car parked nearby.

Police say the man apparently beat himself up, attacked officers and also badly damaged the ambulance which took him to hospital.

Neighbours said the man was carried out of the house to a waiting ambulance by at least eight police officers at about 5.45am. He had extensive cuts across his face and arms, they said.

Witnesses said the man, who they thought was in his 30s, had earlier used wooden planks to make a large cross, which he held up to officers as they attempted to approach him.


A neighbour had been woken just before 5am.

He said: "He was throwing a lot of things out into the street, including cutlery and old records and when police arrived he came out carrying two wooden floorboards in the shape of a cross. It was like a scene out of some cult vampire TV programme - that's the only way I can describe it.

"He was acting demented and kept making a really loud moaning noise like a bellowing cow giving birth. It was unbelievable. It took numerous officers to restrain him and they eventually bound his feet with tape and managed to get him in an ambulance."
