Has anyone else seen anything about neocron ?
i just downloaded the offline demo and man it looks smart
kinda reminds me of Deus Ex and Half Life , but it is aparantly a mmorgs aswell so im looking forward to it coming out

Personally I like ye'old day's type of mmorpg. Im sure its more than this but personally I don't see anything wrong with CS, JKII or Unreal/Quake for a bit of fps fun. Neocron I will watch for tho.

the trailer makes it look like a blade runner type world, and was showing what looked like two teams fighting it out rather than you against them sort of game, but its not clear from demo if they were humans or just ai. First person like you say and you seem to have a lot of icons to play with and equipment.

It definately is MMORPG and seems pretty dark with hookers etc. Pv P also included as standard.

I think it is due out in the next couple of months.

ive got the video of it. and it looks amazing. i LOVE deus ex and thats wat its like. also you get a shitty apartment to start off and then move out of the ghetto to a better place and get a hoverbike or share a tank with a mate.

only thing i am worried about is that theres only 3 classes which is putting me off a little

Apparently, when you PK someone, your 'auora' or something gets darker. Once it becomes too dark, you're banished from the city and into the wastelands, where you need to kill NPC mobs to raise your auora again.

Even better is, if you kill someone with a lower auora then yours, it counts as a good action. So there must be some scope for players-policed servers.

thing is about that aurora thing. i hope its only people under the starting aurora because it just said about killing someone lower than urs. so that means someone who has a little higher than a newbie could kill the newbie and get a better aurora.

this concerns me : /

im only on a 56k modem so it might be a bit too laggy for me.
