Thinking of moving to Hibernia seeing as you are famed for being so nice wondering what classes are in demand, or what the best class to be, wanna help out the realm to be honest and looking for a good sturdy guild

Rnager, NS Very Tuff to get grp and level

I would reccomend playing a Luri, and Luri but a Luri or a Luri

But im a hooge Luri fan so somewhat bias

I would heavily advise you against playing a lurikeen, the reason..

I see from your sig you have a lvl50 infil, the NS is no where near as powerful as an infil, and I think you'll just start to find playing a NS far more annoying cos you know what an infil is capable of in comparison. And of course you should play a class you enjoy..

Jood is right tho, be a lurikeen no matter what

gotta agree with mal, us nightshades are really under gunned in the assassin stakes, it will be like playing an inf without any of the high end skills.

i have an alt warden, they are incredibly fast to lvl, and so are bards. i also have alot of fun using my warden since i run bt, rezz and get to fight, rather then just healing or just fighting.

pity luri's can't be wardens.....

yep got to agree with the majority be a luri!!!!!!! luris only decent race in this game and yea shame luris cant be wardens.. or bards.. or druids.. or heros.. or blademasters <sobs> lol wish the part about getting a group was true could hit 50 in a few days if it was id watch out being a shade... lvln can really get you down probably the same as infiltrators.. not sure how gimped we are compared to infils.. (never played one) but i sure as heck aint getting the dmg that they do to me ( i pa for 500 dmg max they pa me for 600-800 :/) but theres 3 levels in it so... <shrugs> whatever you make just have fun, goodluck, yell if u need a hand

I tried every class exept a warden, personally I like shades, because if the hib organisation and dicipline fails again you're not in trouble. Not always anyway

When you go for a ranger I'd leave stealth at 1 - it takes up too much points to keep it at a decent level and stealthers will see you anyway with see hidden. And yeah camoflage helps a bit but the second you fire an arrow you get every stealther around on your tail for 10 minutes. Keep bow to max (or autotrain) and make sure you have good melee. Pathfinding is self-buffs and a speed increase, very usefull.

As celt you hit for more damage because you have higher strength and more con to survive stealther attacks, but luri's are more fun

That's just my opinion though.

ps. Ranger are extremely expensive > you have to buy loads of arrows everytime. My ranger had great experience with grouping with a druid (rooting mobs), eldritches and shades.

Ranger is a nice class, though you have to think if you want to be a battle ranger (melee) or an archer ranger (bow), heard some good things about both so going the wrong way would be hardly impossible.
And no if your a lurikeen you dont get groups more often I soloed like 20 of 24 lvls, its not so bad really, still have to get to learn how Hibernia works myself.

Play what u want. Try diffent classes Pbaoe chanters and good, Champs bards ment are great for solo and in groups

If u go for a ranger ask the high lvl ranger xest revminster morana how they like the charater i belive xest has a very good template and he hunts assisin <strange elf>

Shades are very difficult to group and if u want to get back into the rvr arena fast dont be stealther.

Support class Warden, bard mentalist

From what I've seen with my low lvl alts, we're lacking in pure tanks and support classes atm - everyone's playing rangers and 'shades for Thid these days. I'd suggest rolling a warden for the ultimate in tanking/support - or just play a couple of classes up to 10 and see what you like the best

If you need any damage-add buffs or owt, PM me in game (these days it's "Sapper") - it'll be just like old times

oh boy oh boy oh boy, want some advice?

Celt ranger, initial points in Str (10) Con (10) Qui (5) Dex (5).

At 50, aim for base skills of:

43 Blades
43 Bow
and put the rest in PF

And, as VodkaFairy says, DO NOT put points in stealth, as it's completely pointless.

Instead, you can kill assassins AFTER they PA you, and you have a very good set of self buffs.

Want to argue about the effectiveness of this template?

/send sortia next time you are ingame and ask how good the ranger is. Sortia is played by my flatmate, and his original character is Josidiah. Sortia was originally meant to be a test character for Thidranki, but was such a good spec Jos has decided to get her to 50 before his main

Granted, Jos has her twinked with DF armour and high lvl OTD's (Guardian bow, pestilant sickles x 2), but at lvl 36 (green con to a lvl 50) Sortia has nearly 800 hp unbuffed, can hit lvl 50's for 100+ with bow or 60+ with each weapon (every 2 seconds) and can go afk, come back after an orange amadan has been beating on her for 15 seconds, and can melee kill it, and can already kill Greenbarks (lvl 42'ish trees with damage shields).

So, want to be a ranger? Check the spec out
