I've noticed, that in the long run, you save alot more when you buy a bit more expensive* stuff for your computer.(*ofcourse taking into consideration the usual suspects)

Especially since, if you live by yourself, a new computer usually means less expenses on food and such :D So you basically save the extra dough.

I'd say go for the best fitting, even if it's a bit mroe pricey. Saves effort, time and money in the long haul.

I have a similar, if slightly lower spec, and have an Akasa 500W PSU, picked it up for ~£70ish, seems to work ok, I originally had a £30 noname brand one in there but decided that probably wasnt the best idea :D

my spec (I think, been a while since I put it together :D)

160GB HD
8800GTS320
ASUS P5
Core 2 Duo E6600 2.4 GHz
2GB Corsair DDR2

Cant remember the exact name of the akasa model I got, I remember it was a 500W one and it cost somewhere around £70-80. I got it from overclockers IIRC. I forget the details though :(

Corsair, Enermax, Seasonic and to a lesser extent Zalman and OCZ.

most of 'em are built by Seasonic and rebranded, but all have excellent suply in the line of +3,3V which is the one used for feeding gfx cards which nowadays is the most demanding component of yer rig, and the +12V line which is the one used to feed the chip and memories (mainly).
Dont be fooled by PSU advertising 100000000wats. The important thing is the quality of the energy suplied, and those brands mentioned are topnotch.

Using myself a Seasonic M12 600w and is smooth like silk. Inaudible and modular so you can use only the suply wires you need and keep your rig space cleaned. However, it isnt economic: around 200pounds (130€)

The Corsair you mentioned is a good PSU with a superb quality/price ratio.

Dont save money in your PSU. Most underrated component of the pc, (i think i already said it in another post) and the true root of many problems of ones computer (annoying blue screens of death, problems with slow perfomances in games due to gcards badly fed, etc).

130 Euros is about £102, so that's not too bad.
