need help

hi guys, am thinking of leaving daoc for ff, i did the benchmark and got a pretty poor score, just over 1000 on low rez.
so was just wondering if anyone is actually playing on a similar spec or is it just not gonna happen? will i need to upgrade antything? and if so what would you think would improve performance best?

running 1.3 athlon
512 ddr
gforce 2 mx400 64meg

any advice would be much appreciated

Double your ram, and get a good graphics card.

The ram should be ok, but yeah get a better graphics card.

I run on Athlon 1.4
512MB DDR
Geforce 2 400MX 32MB

Game runs absolutly fine, about 1000 times smoother than Daoc ever did, so while a new card would be a nice luxery and will enable you to play in higher resolution, if your short of cash your current system will still be perfectly playable mate.

I run Radeon 9000 pro2 128ddr, 512meg RAM and AMD athlon 1.2 gig, the game runs smoothly even on the higher resolutions and settings.
