Need help with weapon/shield drops

Hiya's

I'm pretty new to Prydwen and have no idea about drops , I'm using the trolki otd Hammer which now cons blue and a crafted heater shield . Does anyone know where I can get those drops (preferably magical) at my lvl ? or should I just go crafted ? Or does anyone have any for trade , I do have gold so thats np .Thanks in advance for any replies

At your level you may want to get hold of a red bludgeoner hammer (drops off trollki I think - poor memory at work!- it will con same as your current one but the plus to hammer skill is pretty good - some people use it till 22.

If your after a better conning one crafted is the way to go till 22 at which point do the Njessie quest at Gna Faste to get a one or 2 handed hammer - best hammer you can get for a while - very nice!

Only decent shield drop I remember is off the named fire flower - Eld in Muspelheim - bout level 22 - get a fireshield - nice stats but take a friend as Elds never alone and those things DD!

Thx for the advice , Trolki drop red bludgeoner is what I'm using now and it cons blue to me at 15 , I will be suprised if it lasts to 22 though , and thx for the well wishes

Hehe if you use red bludgeoner at 22... you are being really dumb since it does like half the damage you can do with a good crafted hammer.

My advice is that go with a crafted hammer which cons high orange to you atm, it might last you to 20 when you can buy a new yellow one and then get Ashen Maul at 24, which will last you to 30 or so. After that, you can hunt for a weighted asterite hammer in spindel. Just don't go with a dull asterite hammer, it will do less damage than the Ashen Maul.

What kind of hamnmer should a level 8 Dwarven Thane use?
Im currently still using my House weapon.

Any ideas?

Yeah I dropped the red bludgeoner at 15 , went with crafted , now I'm lvl 21 using a bright fine alloy one hander cons yellow and a sweet shining fine alloy spiked two handed war hammer , what a babe cons orange atm . I'll look out for Ashen maul is it one/two handed and where will I get it ? I know I get a one hander off Njessi at lvl 23 but see no quests for Ashen maul . Must say this though I only started using this 2 hander at 21 my current level , took on orange con deadkane dwarfeater arachite guy for the Widower shield quest , my first solo orange con , did'nt try them before , dropped him in 3 hits needless to say my jaw dropped

Ashen Maul is 2h hammer with +4 hammer, reward for quest Foolish Dancers. Do Njessi hammer for 1hander, so you a nice weapon for 1h and 2h.
