Need help with sb spec

now I need some feedback from fulltime sb players, if my spec will work or if I will be gimped etc.

well, either go low LA (~20ish) or high LA (~39) ... in between is more like wasted points.

personally I prefer 39LA for the in-combat stun, sometimes it does hit afterall

40 Weap, 39CS, 39LA, 34Stealth, 23 Env for example ... depends on your autotraining

or 44 Weap/CS and 33/34 Stealth/Env rest in LA is another option ... but depends alot on PA.

Mastery of Arms is still broken btw... and just a 6% haste boost if when it's fixed. better to just use a haste charge.

Thats with auto training stealth to 24.

It leaves 8 points.

Currenty from various tests on Pendragon the most successful specs are

40-41 Weapon (depends on autotraining)
39 CS
39 LA
35 Stealth
21 Envenom

or The new SZ template

50 Weapon
39 LA
35 Stealth
31-33 Envenom (autotraining dependant)
10 CS

I`ve tested both these as well as various other templates and the most successful (ie the one i dont get slapped silly more times than i win) are these 2 templates.

CB is too dependant on CS attacks and vs other class's with high defense your dead.

Mines 44 CS 44 Sword 35 env 35 stealth, 5k from RR5 and it sucks. Well, maybe not sucks, but it takes alot more concentration to play well rather than: Doublefrost on, Brains off. At least you know a spec not to go

I think if I could have respeccd fully I would have gone with the Bile spec - but alas a single line respec (thanks Mythic!) only allowed me to change my spec a little - I was a 5 spec originally and I changed to:

Swo 44+14
CS 40+14
Ste 36+14
Env 34+14
LA 20+14+DR2

I increased my stealth to 36 as 34 at low RR just wasnt cutting it and as I dont really play that much, it will take me ages to hit RR5. As I am mostly solo, the 36 stealth (effective 50) enables me to get away from bad guys if there are a few of them.

With this spec my PA cap is about 920 with the 2 hander and 700 with LA - but i usually hit in the 200-500 range plus crits.

Buffed with yellow buffs (str roughly 287) I garrotte yellow mobs with 1 hand and LA for 80-90 + 20-30 and achilles for 90-100 +25-35.

btw - I know Cylian said it, but MOA is knackered atm - it gets fixed next patch where it appears that it is only partially working -in that you will need to have MOA2 to experience the haste that should be given by MOA1. Im not sure how good that will be considering you have to spend 14 points to get there.

34 CS, 19 axx and 18 la

look at the screenie in my Sig .. that Garrote is pretty normal.
Get's worse when you get debuffed.

My Spec.

I'm having more fun with the following Critblade Spec than i ever did with my Soulblade. Currently capping at 1022 PA, which isn't as rare as you would think all be it on casters or unbuffed archers/assassins.

Current Spec:-
50 Axe
46 Crit Strike
35 Stealth (Auto to 40)
25 Env

Works well for me as long as i remember to have multiple axes readied with suitable envenom before each fight. I also use a haste proc on the majority of my axes, which is nice.

If i had a further respecs i'd drop stealth to 32/33 and bump envenom up some.

i tryed 43axe, 39laxe, 39cs, 34stealth, 21env for a while but didnt like it at all, to high resist rate on lvl 37 debuff imo, had several fights in just a few hours where both dot and debuff got resisted.
And these days sb´s are dependant on debuffs to win, ofc you
can just re-apply but i didnt like it at all

so now im 50axe, 44laxe, 33stealth, 31env, 2cs and a happy sb again
still havent found a infil i cant beat

btw your buffed stats seems kinda gimped, if your bot isnt 50 you should lvl him, cause thats whats it takes these day for a sb

moa 2 on my buffbot gives me 332str, 313con, 346dex, 257qui

But I really miss FG, so Im thinking of respeccing into
one of the two specs mentioned earlier in this post.
Just hard to decide. Seeing that most infils just gives
a f... in landing cs style, and just pop you from stealth and
pwns you with overpowered styles, it's tempting to try
the SZ spec. But then again PA chain is very nice too...

So i'd apprechiate some feedback from others (i.e Emma)
that has tried both these specs, which they think performed
best etc...
